William Skelton House: Key West vacation home rentalGreat Old Town Location

A hidden gem in Old Town!! The three story William Skelton House is one of the oldest houses on the island built in the 1830’s. This 4 bedroom 3 bath is really charming with its exposed Dade County Pine walls, private porches, and a widow’s walk on the roof with great views of Key West. With its 2 Queen bedrooms, 2 twins in the 3rd bedroom, and private 1st floor queen bedroom, it’s perfect for a group of 8 people. Did we mention the private pool?

The location of this house make your trip the best it can be. It is walking distance to everything worth seeing, including, but certainly not limited to, Mallory Square, Hemingway’s House, Sloppy Joe’s, the Historic Seaport, and enough bars and restaurants to keep you entertained for your entire stay.

Unwelcome groups
We reserve the right to refuse accommodations including bachelor/ette parties and Spring Breakers. We are a small property and are not equipped to service these events. We know first-hand the extent of potential damage even for the "well-behaved" groups regardless of gender. Should we refuse accommodations we do not offer refunds for deposit and outstanding nights.
Inclement weather
We unfortunately do not offer refunds on deposits or unused days for trips cancelled due to bad weather, regardless of a snow storm up north or a hurricane in the south. We strongly suggest using a travel insurance company for a few extra dollars to ensure peace of mind.

Your house is equipped with basic cleaning supplies for the occassional spill or accident. Please make sure to keep the house reasonably clean to avoid pests and critters that are common to South Florida. You are expected to leave the property without damage, dirty dishes, or undisposed garbage. Any excess damages may incur additional fees.

Clothing and Miscellaneous
Key West is a warm humid tropical climate region. Because we are on an island, temperature tends to be a few degrees cooler than the rest of Florida. Be sure to bring warm-weather clothing, a light jacket or sweater for the cooler evenings, a hat, sunglasses, flip-flops and sneakers and sunscreen. Bring a reuasable water bottle to help minimize trash, and to keep yourself hydrated.
